About Aerialyoga360

At AY360 our aim is to make aerial yoga accessible to as many people as possible! We believe that everyone can fly if they really want to, and an aerial sling is a uplifting, enjoyable and accessible way to do so!

We empower our trainees to offer classes which help people feel great. Aerial Yoga is the ultimate step away from the daily grind, lifting the weight of the world off your shoulders and giving EVERY student the opportunity to fly.

MEET THE TEAM

Edel and Yasmin are the founders of Aerialyoga360, bringing together a range of skills to provide the best Aerial Yoga training possible. Both run successful studios and together they have 18 years of experience, so you know you’ll be in safe hands when training with this pair!

Yasmin

Aerial Yoga Instructor

Founder of Grace and Gravity Yoga Studios

Coming from a circus family, Yasmin has aerial in her blood! From a young age, Yasmin has enjoyed hanging upside down by any means necessary. In 2014, she took teacher trainings for both aerial yoga and aerial hoop turning that upside down enjoyment into a career.

She co-founded Grace & Gravity Studio in 2016 introducing Aerial Yoga to the local community. The goal was to help others thrive by nurturing body and mind with all kinds of fun fitness. Since then, Yasmin has continued to spread the aerial yoga love throughout schools, businesses and events all over the UK. Yasmin is a Experienced Yoga Alliance accredited teacher with accredited studios too. She ia a 200 hour Hatha Yoga Teacher ( Sally Parks) as well as hundreds of additional hours training Vinyasa Yoga (White Space Studio), Hot Yoga (Triyoga), Kids & Acro yoga (Rainbow kids) to name but a few.

The hundreds of hours of training that Yasmin has completed only adds to the quality offered in class. Using techniques from a variety of subjects to create classes, workshops and trainings which are fun and accessible to all.

“Aerial Yoga = Hanging out + chilling out. It’s the perfect combo!”

Edel

Aerial Yoga Instructor

Founder of Flying Fantastic Aerial Fitness and Circus Studios

Edel makes no secret of the fact that she discovered aerial completely by accident, a fortuitous stumble into a silks class in Argentina that changed the course of her life! She quickly became hooked, and on returning to London, set up Flying Fantastic with her partner in a attempt to make aerial accessible to as many people as possible – especially those who doubt they will ever be able to lift themselves off the ground! But aerial is by its very nature challenging, and Edel trained in Aerial Yoga to offer classes to students who wanted to get airborne but not have their feet too far away from the floor at first!

With a background in Primary Teaching, Edel set up the Flying Fantastic Youth programme which offers classes for children from 2 to 16. She is always looking for ways to make aerial accessible to new people and the Aerial Yoga sling is an incredibly versatile way to be able to do this. Edels mission in life to get people of all ages flying and she uses the sling for a variety of classes from a Mum and baby class to a 74 year olds birthday party! Edel has also set up an ‘Open Aerial’ programme which offers Aerial Yoga to children and adults of all ages with a range of disabilities and learning difficulties. She is also studying for her 200 hours yoga teacher training.

You may also have seen her on the television teaching Aerial Yoga to celebrities on This Morning, Let it Shine (BBC), Sports Relief (BBC), First Dates (Sky) and Made in Chelsea to name but a few! With three young kids thrown into the mix, she fully appreciates the benefits of an Aerial Yoga savasana and is really excited about sharing that power with you!

“Everyone needs a little bit of aerial upside down time!”

HAPPY CUSTOMERS

“I wasn’t sure what to really expect on the instructors training course for aerial yoga. I felt nervous, but as soon as I arrived Yasmin and Edel made me feel welcome and comfortable. The course was so much fun, and I felt more than confident when I left to start my aerial yoga journey. I can’t recommend these guys highly enough.”
